I watched the video on urges. Is it considered an allowed urge if it’s more of a thought and the thought is corrected before getting too deeply in the feeling?
Example: I’m cleaning up the kitchen and I notice some chips. T – I could have a few chips. New thought – I’m not hungry. It’s past my IF cutoff time and besides I don’t snack anymore.
I felt a twinge of a feeling and tried to describe how it felt but since I primarily interrupted the model at the thought, there was no desire. It might have been what I would call a slight emptiness in middle of ribcage. Can this count on my sheet of 100 urges or is that only when you have an obvious desire that you want to work through?
