I planned to workout in the morning with my prefrontal cortex. Turns out, my baby had plans to keep me up literally ALL night. So when my alarm went off after 29 minutes of sleep, my primitive was like “Helllllll no. Go back to bed. Sleep is important.”
And my prefrontal said, “Forget sleep! You said you were working out.”
So….. who was right ? I know sleep is important, but so is keeping commitments. Are there exceptions? Thanks!
