I want to accept my human emotions. I know I get mad at being mad, sad that I am sad, etc.
I’d like to practice “It’s ok to be mad” (or sad). But when I think this thought, I feel a resistance, deep inside, which is telling me: “No, it’s not acceptable”.
Would you recommend a ladder thought?

Some people find it acceptable to be mad, or sad.
Some people want to be mad or sad.
I could think it’s ok to be mad or sad.
I want to be open to the idea that it’s ok to be mad or sad.
I may think one day that it’s ok to be mad or sad.
