I have this feeling of jealousy that comes up from time to time. Whenever I talk with colleagues or friends and hear about their situation, I get into the compare and despair situation. I didn’t want to look into the feeling or thoughts causing this because I knew it was going to be ugly. But I decided to do a thought download on it and discovered many thoughts I didn’t like.

Here’s one of the thoughts that came up. I’m having trouble finding the R line. Please help!

A: Find reasons why it’s easy for her, compare my situation to hers, reflect on how much I don’t have, not look or think about what it took her, not trying to lean in and hear more about her experience…
