Joe Dispenza’s Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself

I am reading this book and find it so very interesting.
I know you’ve studied his work and I wonder if you can clarify one thing for me.

In the book he talks about how the brain triggers emotions from conscious thoughts, but the body also triggers emotions through a subconscious (and learned) process that short-circuits the brain.

Do you subscribe to that notion?

If so, then it seems the Model would reflect the conscious half of the equation, and our work on our conscious thought would aim to compete with the subconscious process, in order to eventually overtake or even reprogram it — is that correct?

Thank you!
