Judging my thoughts


I’m noticing a pattern where I think the thought “I hate myself” and then I immediately judge it with why do I keep thinking this? Or stated another way, I shouldn’t be thinking this. Can we put a thought in the C line? any other feedback on these models please?

C: I notice the thought “I hate myself”
T: I shouldn’t be thinking that!
F: frustrated
A: more ruminating
R: I never stop thinking about it

IM
C: I notice the thought “I hate myself”
T: There’s that thought again
F: neutral
A: shift into observer mode
R: i create space between the thought
