I lost 45 pounds with your Stop Overeating Workshop and maintained it for 4 months. Then life (new thoughts) happened and I can track back now to seeing how a simple thought like ‘Oh, just this one time you can afford to indulge’ caused me to gain back 25 pounds.
Unlike previous diets, I know that I have all the tools to get back on protocol and lose those 25 pounds again and keep them for good. What I keep hearing though, is my primitive brain telling me, ‘See? We knew it’s just another diet.’
Would you suggest some laddering thoughts to reconcile with the fact that I gained all this weight back?
I try to tell my brain that it’s just what was supposed to happen but it doesn’t buy into this thought.
