learning to honor our commitment to ourselves


Hi Brooke
Could you please say a few words about how to adopt the habit of honoring our commitments to ourselves.
I have learned to not follow through on schedules, plans etc., to build up stress due to not following through or procrastination, etc. I have many schedules I have put together for myself that I did not follow through on. In the olden Pre-Model days, these kinds of things were psychoanalyzed as self sabotage or looking for deeper reasons why I don’t want to help myself with my life. Don’t want to look at it like that. Is it as simple as developing bridge thoughts?
