Loving others despite huge political differences

My political beliefs differ from some loved ones and friends. I have decided to love those family and friends despite these differences. I want to be the kind of person that says: They can believe whatever they want and I will love them anyway. For the most part that is true except when I think that certain beliefs held by my family members are rooted in racism. How can I continue to love and show respect for a family member who’s actions and words can be interpreted as racist?

C loved one has certain beliefs
T her behavior is racist, even though she doesn’t see it that way
F deep sadness
A don’t speak my truth or voice my opinion (to avoid arguments), strive to keep the peace.
R I’m complicit by not challening her hate speak, which makes me a racist.
