Making Long Term goals more task oriented

I have discovered that I am a very task oriented person. I love to check things off my list and break down projects into steps. My 2020 impossible goal is to weigh 150 by 12/31/2020. Because weight loss is not an instant thing, but a matter of sticking to things long term I am trying to figure out how to break it down into “steps” that I can look at as tasks. I had my 25 failures/results listed out for Q1 and completed those, but when choosing for Q2 I found that they were mostly the same. Do you have any suggestions for making “new” tasks for weight loss? Or a different way for me to look at this? Thanks!
