Managing over eating and over drinking at the same time

I followed my drinking plan yesterday, but after I met my planned limit I became laser focused on a sleeve of bagels sitting on my counter. In the past I have had binging issues but have managed them well over the past 10 years or so easily because I gave up gluten. Well, last night I ate the gluten filled bagels! (and missed an opportunity to feel an urge) I am worried that I will replace my over drinking with over eating. I did fill out the “write it down, learn, move on” sheet and determined that I need to allow for both eating and drinking urges moving forward and remove “junk food” from my kitchen. Have others in the overdrinking group had this problem as well? Did I follow the correct protocol after I binged on bagels?
