I have an anxious attachment style. When things are not 100% in my relationship, I find this very unsettling and I am unable to focus on other areas of my life. My predominant thought is ‘I hate this’.
One of the things I hate the most is that my partner withdraws from me following arguments for a day or several days. I hate this so much.
Part of me wants to not apply a manual to him and just accept that he does this and the other part of me wants me to request that he doesn’t do this anymore. But I’m too scared to make the request for fear he will withdraw again.
