“Messing up” model


Today (day 3 of my 30 day goal) I didn’t honor my time commitments. I showed up late to both of my appointments to work on my goal and didn’t get the results I had planned on ahead of time. I found myself feeling anxious about it so I created my UM and then a new IM and was wondering if I could get some feedback on these.

UM- C: Did not complete the tasks set for the time allotted. T: I’m already messing up and failing and it’s only day 3. F: Upset. A: Indulge in confusion and overwhelm and think about how I’ve messed up the rest of the week. R: Allow myself to be labeled as a failure.

IM- C: Did not complete the tasks set for the time allotted. T: I’m glad I didn’t meet today’s requirements because as a successful person I want to mess up often so I can learn that much more that much faster. F: Determined. A: Do a TDL on today’s obstacles and create strategies for them in the future. R: Show myself I’m capable and learn new strategies for obstacles
