Mind-Body Connection

Newbie here.

I see many things on the importance of the mind-body connection, stored trauma in our bodies creating issues have become more mainstream lately. (just watched the latest Greys episode). I’ve been mostly skeptical until lately, having worked in academic medicine my whole career and being a a student of the metaphysical, which tells us it’s all in our minds. I know Brooke is a fan of Martha Becks early work, which is heavy on mind body. Any suggestions on how to tie it all together?
