Here is the model I am currently running over and over again in my mind :
C: Entire week-end with friends planned in December
T: I am going to have to manage my brain around each bad attitude that they have.
A: Stress ahead of time, focus on negative thoughts about my friends, have lots of judgmental thoughts, create resentfulness ahead of time, don’t create anticipation around this week-end.
R: I create a negative story about my friends and my week-end with them.
I want to feel excited and impatient., I love my friends (but I keep telling myself that I love them just a certain amount of hours!).
I am struggling with creating a positive story here. Could you help me with that?
