Model/Challenging New Thoughts


Hi,
This model has been continual work for me. I am challenging my thoughts and trying to think of different ways to accept my fiance for who he is. I have expressed my side regarding certain habits he has and the impact it has taken on me and I don’t want to take them personal anymore. Can you give me any additional thoughts for my intentional model?

Unintentional Model:
C: I have a boyfriend (fiance) that has human habits.
T: “I still battle with my thoughts and feel my good qualities are wasted on him.”
“I am never given the time of day without being cut off and never have 100% of his attention.”
F: Horrible
A: I doubt our relationship all the time.
R: Doubting my decision making.

Intentional Model
C: I have a boyfriend (fiance) that has human habits.
T: His habits have nothing to do with me.
F: Neutral
A: Focus/enjoy the time that is actually spent with each other. 50% 50%
R: I am at peace
