Model Mixing Question – AMD

Hi Brooke,

Totally working hard in September. This tells me that this is the month I shouldn’t give up on… resistance, frustration… so woo-hoo…. I think some big learning is coming my way.

OK:
C: Schedule
T: This will be stressful, it’s booked every half hour from alarm to bed.
F: Fear
A: Resist the schedule
R: Stress

How do you want /need to feel:
Abundant damn it. I want to feel like have time and it’s clear to me that I’m not treating myself like I do have time…. (maybe I got misty eyed when I wrote that…. LOL)

C: Schedule
T: my schedule is my servant not my master
F: Stern
A: Rip Schedule apart and make it make sense
R: Less on schedule
Which generates a thought immediately:
T:I’ll loose my job,
F: Boxed in, trapped
A: — Here’s where I fell down… with well, there’s no way I’m going to do an action that has a result that proves THAT thought.
R:
Revised:
T:I’ll loose my job, I have to get all this stuff done.
F: Boxed in, trapped
A: Keep trying to get all this stuff done,
R: I get it all done but I’m doing it like a crazy person. Not really adding value, just reacting all the time.

C: Schedule
T:This is ridiculous. If all of this is so important, how come when I do it I don’t feel productive. Just used up?
F: Determined
A: Rip through the schedule, delegate or reject everything not related to my most important goals for the month
R: Less oversight for my staff(s) (I’m currently moving from one position to another so I have 2 teams, 2 jobs, 2 sets of staff asking me questions and wanting my attention. )

Ok so that last model kinda fell apart. Probably because the thought line is a question?

C: Schedule
T:This is ridiculous. If all of this is so important, how come when I do it I don’t feel productive. Just used up?
T: Revised: I’m allowing too much low value items in my day. Focus on high value items.
F: Determined
A: Rip through the schedule, delegate or reject everything not related to my most important goals for the month
R: Less oversight for my staff(s) (I’m currently moving from one position to another so I have 2 teams, 2 jobs, 2 sets of staff asking me questions and wanting my attention. )
R: Revised: My staff are professionals. They should be able to handle these meetings without me and this transition is going to make sure that I have to let them do it.

Well, I guess that’s better. Before I started typing I was stuck at “I’ll lose my job” which is my favorite thing to think day in and day out apparently, since I think that about 50 times a day despite the fact that I’ve never been fired. :/
