Model Review – On the Right Track?


Hi! I’m wondering in you would review models I have around starting a new business as a nutritional/functional medicine practitioner?

Circumstance: obtain nutritional/functional medicine certification and start a business as an independent practitioner.

Thought #1: You Will Fail
C: Become a certified Nutrition/Functional Medicine practitioner.
T: You’ll fail
F: Depressed
A; Disengage socially, make poor eating choices, don’t work out, buffer with useless projects, spend lots of time researching the idea – analysis paralysis, don’t make decisions.
R: In-action, nothing happens

C: Become a certified Nutrition/Functional Medicine practitioner.
T: You’ll fail
F: Worthless
A: Indulge in self-pity and negative self-talk
R: In-action, nothing happens

C: Become a certified Nutrition/Functional Medicine practitioner.
T: You’ll fail
F: Invaluable
A: Look for ways to prove to myself and others that I have self-worth over think any decisions/action steps b/c I’m afraid failure will prove my feeling true.
R: I hold back.

C: Become a certified Nutrition/Functional Medicine practitioner.
T: You’ll fail
F: Not capable
A: create walls to protect myself from judgment of criticism, don’t take action I’m not confident in, don’t put myself at risk, don’t try new things, don’t engage socially, lose interest in the subject/task/idea.
R: I limit my life experiences.

Thought #2: This is just another thing you’ll try.
C: Become a certified Nutrition/Functional Medicine practitioner.
T: This will just be another thing you try (that won’t last)
F: I’m not good enough to be really successful – not capable
A: Quit trying new things, only try new things (on a small scale) I’m super confident in my likelihood to succeed, settle for the “best” form of past success I’ve had and try to convince myself I can be happy with my achievements thus far, don’t put myself out there, don’t invest in myself, I don’t ask for help (why waste people’s time), stop looking for/seeing opportunities.
R: Nothing changes in my life or my experience of life experiences get smaller.

C: Become a certified Nutrition/Functional Medicine practitioner.
T: This will just be another thing you try (that won’t last)
F: Unintelligent
A: Spend lots of time researching information (as if there’s security in its acquisition), slow to take action (if at all), keep my risk levels low, ask a lot of people, whose options I value what they think
R: Take a long time to take little or no action.

C: Become a certified Nutrition/Functional Medicine practitioner.
T: This will just be another thing you try (that won’t last)
F: Foolish
A: Look for security in information, over think, over research, seek lots of opinions, don’t take action.
R: Nothing changes.

C: Become a certified Nutrition/Functional Medicine practitioner.
T: This will just be another thing you try (that won’t last)
F: Failure
A: draw inward, don’t take risks, take little/no action, over analyze, second-guess, and find excuses not to move forward.
R: Nothing changes

F: Dashed-hopes
A: I don’t make a decision, I spin out on information, over analyze

A: Force ideas, direction or timing because I want change now, self-comfort with sugar
R: Self-sabotage

A: Negative self-talk, don’t go after big dreams, get small, devalue myself, and don’t take risks.
R: My world gets smaller.
