Model to take action and honor self [pdsa]

Hi, thought I’d start posting some models for self-motivation and feedback. I welcome any comments about how to clean up my models when I have so many integrated thoughts swirling in my head. Specifically, it seems like a lot of my actions have emotions associated with them (excited/motivated attitude in my actions is what I’m trying to create).

Unintentional:
C: Today (options for activities to do)
T: “I don’t want to find a thought to motivate me.”
F: Defiant [comment: underlying emotion is fear, but I know that comes from a different thought, and I felt it more useful to model the thought above]
A: Buffer w/ food, internet, games; underlying anger at myself [can this go here?], don’t start SCS work/lists/planning, don’t take actions on things, stay in confusion
R: Actively seek out confusion/avoidance instead of create motivation

Intentional:
C: Today (options for activities to do)
T: “I trust myself.”
F: Respect
A: [Confidently] make task list, plan, prioritize; pick action and begin; acknowledge but resist escape urges; view all action as progress; view all roadblocks as opportunities to overcome and and exciting challenge
R: Honor commitment to self

When creating the models, I have found that using thoughts and/or emotions that are opposites of each other is not necessarily the most enlightening option for me. I predict that your answer to that would be “that’s ok, what works for you” – but just wanted to make sure I wasn’t supposed to be actively analyzing model opposites, as it were. See example below:

T: “I don’t want to find a thought to motivate me.”
T: “I want to find a thought to motivate me.”

F: Defiant
F: Willing

Thanks!
