Money Coaching – Not getting a raise even after delivering great value


Hi Brooke and Coaches,
I was watching one of the videos under “Money”, along with my husband. In that video, Brooke encourages us to ask for a raise by emphasizing the amount of value we offer. While I agree with her, my husband’s experience has been that raises/promotions are often governed by corporate bureaucracies than by how much value you offer. He’s been offering immense value to his employer (they were infact his boss’ words) but his promotion (so is his raise) has been stalled for the last 6 months due to corporate change in promotion policy. He is just disappointed with his circumstance. What would be your advice to him? Do you agree that delivering value always doesn’t guarantee more money/promotion? How can I coach myself given this circumstance?
