Motivating Action With Positive Emotions

I know how to motivate myself with negative thoughts and emotions. For example, “Get up or you will be late for work!” Or, “Finish this project or you will get fired!” Without this kind of panic and scarcity mindset my temptation is to lie in bed and enjoy doing nothing. What is a positive or a non-negative thought and emotion that enables me to get up and get ready for work, or that enables me to get things done?
