I have been working to improve my defensive attitude and I get a TON of practice at work because my team lead drives me crazy. I usually try to ignore him but today he got under my skin by calling me out on something that I didn’t do. I emailed him back asking why he did this. Now I feel confused, like I’m too defensive, and a little angry that he’s such a pain.
Please advise as to what I can do when I’m overwhelmed by anger, in that moment, to model myself to safety.
