Hi, my friend literally just met this guy and they’ve gone on one date. According to her, he’s Mr. perfect and she’s floating on cloud 9 and she’s in love and on and on. I’m really sick of hearing about it because I’m in a place in my life in which I know “people” don’t make us happy. I’m doing a lot of work on not relying on outsides C’s to dictate my emotional state. I think we are in two different places in our lives and I’m struggling with what to think every time she brings him up which is constantly. I love her dearly but feeling disturbed every time I see a text from her because we aren’t school girls and this seems so juvenile to me(thoughts I know) and I’m at a loss. Any suggestions please?
