My house is not like Brooke’s


Brooke wrote an email to us on Friday “My house is clean.” Etc. Lovely email and goal. But how do I deal with my own goals to “get it done” when my lack of time management skills and ability to let go means I have a backlog of 30 years of “stuff” to deal with to keep or toss. My office has piles of papers I need to look at before I toss or file them, I saved them for a reason. I’m not a hoarder- to a guest our house looks neat and tidy, both cars in garage, little on kitchen counters. But I hate the backlog of stuff that Brooke sounds like she doesn’t have. How to deal with that? I can barely schedule for my important things, let alone schedule time to deal with paper piles I’ve been accumulating for months. What to do?
