Glad you are far from the floods! Wondering if you have a certain protcol when things like natural disasters happen. I found myself wanting to buffer tonight and realized some of it stems from reading about the hurricanes.
Here are my models:
T: world is sad and scary
A: either avoid it completely or read way too much about it: eat to buffer
R: look for and find more scariness in the world
T: even if I don’t understand why, it’s all happening the way it should because it is happening
A: do a few things that feel like love (donate money and pray)
R: look for the helpers and miracle stories; appreciate all that i have in this moment
