natural weight vs. choosing your weight


I have watched the entire stop overeating workshop and completed the booklet. Many times in the booklet there are references to reaching your “natural” weight, but also in the booklet and in the workshop there is mention of “choosing” your weight. This seems contradictory to me, can you explain the most useful and helpful way to think about weight when it comes to stopping overeating and using food for false pleasure? Thank you!
