I am seeking clarity on past hurts/beliefs.
There was a previous comment about past Pain vs new Pain. I believe the terms were d vs new.
From your response I interpreted that past experience doesn’t inform thinking now.
So if have a thought about being “being wrong” that has held a grip on me (which I realize is a thought) – that thought today is that thought today. My past actually does not inform my present nor my future.
Am i getting that correctly?
If that is the case, then why do similar thoughts keep showing up in my/our conscious awareness.
