Need Help with Identifying the Next Best Steps

Hi, I’m very new to The Model, and I’m finding it a very helpful tool. Through the process of working with it, I have discovered one recurring pattern. In my attempt to motivate myself, I unconsciously set aspirational goals for myself that are inadvertently so daunting, I end up feeling apathetic and uninspired to work towards them at all. For example, a goal would be – “make a film”, “write a book”, or “launch a website”. These goals describe an end-product, but it really doesn’t motivate me to do anything at all about them. What is particularly interesting, is the simultaneous “fear of failure”, that also contributes to the inaction, and results in apathy. Having identified this recurring pattern, I would appreciate some advice on how to guide myself forward in a way that feels both practical, and true.
