I would like some guidance about my upcoming trip across the country. I don’t enjoy flying and my anxiety increases as the trip nears. I have tried different distractions but they haven’t been effective. I avoid air travel whenever possible but it’s not possible this time around and I want to try coaching in an attempt to change my experience about flying.
I am new new to the model but have tried to think through it.
C- I am flying across the country
T- The plane will crash
F- Anxiety, Dread
A- Feel panic and make my family uncomfortable
R- I “white knuckle” through the flight and bring my Rosary beads to pray.
I want to feel happy & anxiety about the trip.
