No flour or sugar protocol

Can I do just no flour and sugar for the first 30 days as my protocol? I am also sticking to 2 meals a day. Yesterday I only had one. Weighing myself daily. Lost 4 lbs since starting Sept 1. Afraid of failing if I start commiting to my food for the following day while being so new to your program. It also brings up some anxiety as i tried to do this in my 20’s with overeaters anonymous. I still havent started doing any models. Just been noticing urges and letting them pass instead of giving in. Thank you in advance. Im 50 yrs old and have been battling this food/weight problem forever. Looking forward to being free.
