No verbal “thoughts”

I am new to scholars and have been trying to get better at using the model.

In the recent “Mastering The Model” Group session, I asked a question about how to approach the model when you don’t have an active internal monologue (I don’t “hear” thoughts or think in sentences). I was cautioned that my current approach my not be identifying the SOURCE/Thought that leads to my
Feelings.

So, I’ve been reevaluating how I approach the model. I am not sure of the best way to fill the thought line, since I FEEL without any active words in my head.

Does the model simply not work as well for people who don’t think in words? If thoughts create feelings, what is creating my feelings? I suspect it’s the beliefs I hold… And if that’s the case, can I use beliefs in the thought line in lieu of a “thought” in my head?
