Hello. I started on June 21, and lost 3 lbs. the first 2 days, but since then I have lost nothing. I’m even gaining a half pound. So my total loss to date is 2 1/2 pounds. I have been IF from 7pm- 1pm and following my protocol strictly. I write everything down. I haven’t had any sugar or flour since I started (not even joy eats because I haven’t been craving anything ). I rotate the same 4 protocols and never deviate. I think I’m fat adapted because I’m not hungry during my fasting. Could there be something wrong with my body adapting to IF? I’ve always lost a lot of weight quickly in the beginning in other programs in the past, but I wasn’t IF and still having sugar and flour. Here are my protocols:
Salad w/ 4 oz. chicken, 1/2 avocado, 4 tbsp. cheese w/ ranch dressing
Power bowl- 1/4c quinoa, 1/4 sweet potato, 3tbsp hummus, carrots, peppers, kale, 1/2 avocado
Omelette- 2 eggs, 1/4c cheese, tomato, peppers, pat butter
4oz. Protein, broccoli, sweet or regular potato w/ pat of butter (sour cream and cheese w/ regular potato once)
I drink coffee every morning and use heavy whipping cream only.
Any insight you can provide as to why I’m not losing anything would be helpful. Thanks!
