Similar to the Thought Loops podcast, I want to get better at simply allowing anxiety and not responding to the feeling that I must perform a obsessive compulsive behavior to make the situation better, protect myself, etc. Though I am not diagnosed with OCD, I have incredibly strong impulses to, for instance, wash my hands, check the door lock, make sure there is no danger, etc…over and over and over. This is particularly an issue when it comes to exposure to germs, etc…the result can be behavior that is time consuming and can leave me feeling rushed or wasting time or running late. Are all of the coaches good at working with OCD, when I sign up for a coaching session? Is there space to indicate what I want to work on so the coach knows a little ahead of time?
