I am an author and have taken Brooke’s advice to do B- work and decided to complete a novel manuscript in the small time that I had until a deadline and submitted it on time, while I realized that it’s less than perfect.
I wanted to give myself this gift of sending it, and not be afraid of being judged.
Now the feedback returned and it ain’t great.
Actually, between the options: Pass, Recommend, Highly Recommend, mine got ‘Pass’ with a really low reader grade.

The anonymous reader actually mentioned in so many ways that the work seems incomplete, rushed, and not ripe.

My question is in what way sending out to the world B- work had served me?
