Hi – it is me again (I just asked about half and half in morning coffee). I forgot to also ask about lemon or lime juice in water… I have read that lemon juice in water is great for digestion…. but would that trigger insulin? I sip it in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon after a meal…. It also makes it taste better and before I know it, I have drank way more water than without the lemon juice.
Also, what is your take on Truvia, or other artificial sweeteners? I read they spike insulin, which I understand is one of the things we are trying to manage.
