One model for 66 day in a row – DAY 1

Hi coaches,

I have been a member of scholars since August 2020 and I have not been doing the work (daily thought download and model) and work on materials offered in Scholars to be able to become the best version of myself. This is the reason I joined in the first place. I want to become ‘the best version of myself’ for my children & myself.

I am committed to post for 66 days in a row a model on this section ‘ASK A COACH’ and that sounds scary right now because I am not that person who does what she says, I am the opposite in fact. Always very enthusiastic but never really follow through. Anyway, I have now set up an alarm to commit to it .
Why 66 days? It comes from the book “The One Thing” by Gary Keller. It encourages people to do one thing for 66 days in a row to form a new habit. I have never managed to stick with it. However, this is something I have introduced to my children and it does work.

Back to my model 1- DAY 1 – Starting with an action (A, F, T, C , R)

A: I haven’t worked on Scholars materials consistently since I joined 7 months ago. I have been procrastinating reading the section “The Model Practice.” Finally did it today after so many false starts. I have not done the models and thought downloads daily. However, I have been consuming videos from the vault and watching a lot of the calls.

F: disappointed with myself

T: This is always the same with me, I am very excited to start a new course but never go though it once bought.

C: I have joined Scholars in August 2020.

R: I am still the same person 7 months later, the person that doesn’t follow through

Model 2 : starting with a feeling (F, T, C, A, R)

F: guilty

T: I have wasted so much money (scholars monthly fee) to be still the same person 7 months later.

C: I have joined Scholars in August 2020.

A: I am buffering (not doing scholars work for example, watch Netflix instead), I am beating myself up and not thinking nice thoughts about myself.

R: I am still the same person 7 months later, the person that doesn’t follow through

Thanks for taking the time to read this and for your feedback.
