With regard to overeating explained in Brooke’s class she suggests that diets do not work and that a protocol is necessary.  However, the protocol seems very similar to a diet but (restrict flour and sugar- with perhaps an exception) which sounds very similar to a diet (with some exceptions) that has to be followed life long to maintain or get to the desired weight and then maintain it.

Does the model even work for people who are unable to have the desired motivation and drive to get to the desired weight. Does this not depend on the person and their commitment to stick to the model as if they have the above, they can stick to a diet plan as well?
