“This isn’t supposed to happen to me. I should have done more to prepare. I feel left out”. I have been struggling with these thoughts recently and was “blaming” an event from 2 years ago. I just re-read my journal from 3-5 years ago and notice the same concerns. I find this very interesting and think this gives me some good areas to focus and data to stop blaming the event 2 years ago since these thoughts, actually, they are probably long standing beliefs, predated 2 years ago. Just wanted to share this realization. No specific question but feedback is welcome.
