Picking a dance studio

I go to Starbucks to do some work, and I end up all over the place. For example, my goal was to find a dance class. What I end up doing is googling dance classes, researching them, looking at their schedules, deciding I’m not sure and there might be something better, and I end up endlessly google searching for something better.

C: Click on a dance studio website and look at schedule
T: There might be something better
F: A fast “seeking” feeling
A: Look up more studios, take no notes, get distracted with something else, google something else, make no decisions
R: I live in the unsatisfied and unsettled feeling that something might be better

I want to just pick something and do it. I want to commit to something and follow through on it so I can put it to bed instead of thinking about it constantly. Sometimes I think I have ADHD.

I want my A to be:  I commit to 30 days at a dance studio and put the time on my calendar when to go

The F I would need to do that is:  committed

C: Looking at dance class schedule
T: Just because my brain tells me I need more information before committing to this studio doesn’t mean it’s true
F: Committed
A: I commit to 30 days at a dance studio and put the time on my calendar when to go
R: I go to a dance studio and learn to dance

C: Looking at dance class schedule
T: It’s possible that this studio is perfect for the next 30 days
F: Open
A: I stop looking at other studios, I stop looking for more information to make the right decision
R: I make a decision and go to a damn dance class already

**This one is my best model**. I can see that I’m trying to make the “right” decision, which is actually resulting in indecision.

C: Looking at dance class schedule
T: This studio is perfect because I SAY it is
F: Confident
A: I stop looking at other studios, I stop looking for more information to make the right decision
R: I make a decision and go to a damn dance class already
