Pitching an idea

I’m a teacher with ideas for a summer enrichment program. I want to pitch the idea of offering these services to my superintendent. I have ideas about the steps I would need to take (interest survey, write up proposal), but I haven’t been able to get pen to paper yet. I’m resistant, and I’m searching for a thought that could help me be more courageous in getting my ideas out there. I tend to shy away from initiating conversations with our highest administrators.

C: Now is the time to present new proposals to the district
T: I’m not sure if anyone would go for this? I don’t want to speak to [admin] about this.
F: Resistant
A: Procrastination
R: Unmet desire to start program. Lack of potentially valuable input from admin. Lack of student benefit. Lack of income stream.
