Hi Brooke,
I have severe PMS for 2 weeks in every month since my early 20’s. I am now 45. I have decided to take massive action to reduce the negative symptoms. I have started IF/No sugar and flour protocol for 2 weeks – so far my moods appear to be much more stable, my thinking is much sharper and my brain fog has gone. I am worried about how to handle the huge carb cravings which I get a week before my cycle. I suspect they are hormone related as I don’t really get them at any other time of the month. If it is my hormones, would this just be a thought that I can put in the model or should I increase the amount of white rice or potatoes during this time? Have you found this IF and cutting out sugar and flour help others with their PMS symptoms?
Many thanks,
Loi
