So I am explaining some of the model and coaching practices to my husband and he replied by saying, isn’t changing your thinking just lying to yourself? I said that we can either chose to feel miserable or change our thinking to feel better. He replied, that still seems like you are just trying to pull the wool over your eyes and fool yourself. I understand this intellectually, but I did pause when he made these comments and really thought about this one…..any advice?
