As we go through the relationship work, help me understand how this piece of the relationship homework fits into choosing thoughts that are believable…..
For the day where we imagine that the other person does exactly what we want and then we imagine what we would be feeling if we practiced these thoughts….how is this not going into that space of unbelievable thoughts? Perhaps it’s the exercise to go there just to see that other feelings are possible based on our thoughts and we don’t actually have to believe or adopt this thinking. BUT, if we want to be able to have these new feelings we see are possible now, do we use bridge thinking?
