New Scholar, here! I am Enjoying every moment and learning every time I open a SCS book or video lesson.
I was overwhelmed in the first week with all that I wanted to get done in my own life beyond the SCS course. I did a model in my head with regards to this thought *and* per Brooke’s recommendation, I wrote a UM and IM one out. Because of this, I sought out ways to better manage my time.
Lo and behold, I happened upon Brooke’s “Throw Away Your To-Do List” Webinar as I was cleaning out my email inbox (One of my buffering tendencies… ha!). The opportunity opened up itself to me. I watched it. And I’m excited about the possibilities of “more time” from better time management.
I would appreciate feedback on my UM/IM models as I continue to improve my model practice!:
UM —
C: There are 24 hours in a day.
T: There’s not enough time in the day, and I have so much to do.
F: Anxious
A: Buffer & Do Non-Urgent things (like cleaning out my email inbox) & Procrastinate & Waste time worrying
R: I don’t get as much done as I would like and continue to feel anxious and distracted with my family.
IM —
C: There are 24 hours in a day.
T: I have so much to do, and I want to get it done. And, there is enough time to get done what I need to get done.
F: Determined
A: Figure out a way to manage my time and be okay that it will take some time. Watch “Throw Away Your To-Do List” Webinar. Apply the time management methods. Show up to Monday Hour One classes.
R: Get the important things done.
Excited for all the possibilities and the growth!
Cheers to becoming better versions of ourselves.
