Hi Brooke,
Doing the homework for today – the one thing I want to accomplish today is self-discipline. Self-discipline in the area of being present in a conversation without the need to interrupt the other person. I have a tendency to do this sometimes, and I’ve been working on it for a while. Sometimes the reason is that I think I’ll forget what I am going to say or that I want to make a point related to the topic at hand. The emotions I want to fuel this result is confidence, security, humility.
What I am stuck on is #5 – How can I generate this emotion for myself today? Increased awareness? Practice?
