Power of emotion question: How to allow negative emotion and create usable emotion at the same time?


Hi,

Brooke teaches us to allow negative emotion and create usable emotion at the same time. I have a lot of thought loops and negative emotions a majority of the time and they stay around for a long time.

My question is :—- Please elaborate clearly how to allow negative emotion and create usable emotion at the same time.

Is it possible to experience anxiety and excitement,  happiness and motivation at the same time?

For me it feels like when I am allowing anxiety or nervousness, I am feeling negative emotion so much that there is no space for creating usable emotion like happiness or excitement to do work.

It’s good news if allowing negative emotion and creating usable emotion at the same time is possible. If so, please explain HOW??
