Practice coaching with neighbor who lost her daughter to suicide.

One of my practice clients is my neighbor who lost her 25 year old daughter to suicide two years ago. I’m sticking to the model and staying out of the pool while we’re in the sessions. She decided to take an action after our last session and I thought it was too early for her to do that, but of course didn’t say so. I haven’t seen her outside since our session and am worried she’s next door in pain because she didn’t get the result she wanted from taking that action. I’m trying to remind myself it is not my business…don’t be tied to her results she’s creating….still, I’m worried about her.

Any advice for me to manage my empathetic self? Thanks!
