Practising thoughts when ladder/bridge thought doesn’t always feel believable?

Dear coaches,

I am working hard on practicing thoughts and using ladder thoughts.

I notice that sometimes, the same T doesn’t elicit the same F as when I first created the IM or ‘ladder’ IM.

E.g. IM/ladder IM when created it:

C: calendar
T: I get shit done because I want to, not because I have to
F: purposeful (is this an F?)

I know I have a human brain and it’s totally ok that some days I’m not ‘feeling’ it (literally). I know this is because of other thoughts that my human brain is offering me. I’m fine that the thoughts don’t ‘feel’ the same some days.

My question is whether you would recommend practicing the same thoughts anyway?
And continuing to do so until they ‘feel’ the way they ‘originally did’, or find a different thought for that day.

E.g. earlier today, same T that I am practicing:

C: calendar
T: I get shit done because I want to, not because I have to
Another T quickly bringing up the rear: “this is bullshit”/“I’m lazy”/“I’ll never do this”
F: frustrated

Although looking at it, the feeling of Frustrated is more from the T: my thought doesn’t feel believable today”

As I said, I notice the ‘unhelpful’ thoughts and don’t attach to them. My question is more the ‘tactics’ of using the ladder in this scenario and how to carry on practicing my thoughts if they don’t feel believable in the moment.

Make sense? What do you think?
