My 8 year old has been home from school since March learning via the computer. She has special needs and this learning platform is not working. Every week she has been in tears, frustrated, angry. She just wants to go to the “real school.” I want to move her to a private school but my husband isn’t ready to move her yet. We had a virtual tour on Friday and it will be a good environment for her. We have a settlement agreement w/ the county that if she leaves the school then we will lose a significant amount of money. For me, I am willing to give up on that money to allow our daughter to thrive in a private in person school. Unfortunately I cannot pull her without my husband’s agreement. I’m not sure what to do if he won’t agree to a new school. Thank you for your thoughts…
