Processing Stress

I find that I feel stress even when my day is planned out, and everything is going smoothly. Right now I am judging myself about it, because it is clearly not justified by the circumstances (which I know are not the cause for my feeling). I get all tense in my back.
Should I do a brain dump about a feeling? Can you suggest questions I would use to uncover my thoughts? And then would I process those thoughts? Or should I start with just “feeling” the stress? I think I’ve felt it long enough. Thanks!
